Coach Bailey: 2020 Addison Waddell #25 Defense Varsity career: New to the game as a Jr., just before Spring Break this season, was becoming a presence & having impact on the practice & playing field. His ability to impact games was cut short, but not his value as a teammate! Addy added!
Coach Keating: #25 Addison Waddell - Addie Waddell - everyone beats to a different drummer - I'm sorry, I just couldn't resist - coming out your junior year without any previous experience was an exceptional challenge, but you never gave up and you earned my respect for how you handled the challenge every day - thank you for trying:)
Coach O’Brien: Amazing effort and made incredible strides from last year to this. He is a smart young man and I only wish he pick up the game earlier. Always enjoyed his presence on the team. A good young man.
Coach Wolcott: Our music man on the team. His work ethic in practice and his need to want to improve his skills, even though he would show some frustration, he would get back on the horse and ride it again. A wonderful attitude both for the game and life.
Mom & Dad Waddell: Our son is the epitome of a music kid and has been one all of his life. It surprised us his junior year when he said he wanted to play lacrosse. He said he realized that most of the kids on the team had been playing for years and he didn’t know much about the sport, but wanted to learn. It turned out to be a great experience for him even though he didn’t get much playing time, he learned so much from the players, Coach Bailey and the Assistant Coaches. Being part of a team has so many rewards and the comradery of this team is incredible!
Addy’s words:
Favorite SES Boys Lacrosse moment(s) during your tenure:
When Coach Bailey yelled “ARE YOU HUNGRY!?” down Summit Plummet at Blizzard Beach.
A lacrosse moment you or team moment you will never forget!
I will never forget Sam Cardosi always being a roll model for the defense and being a major backbone for our team.
College you will be attending in Fall, or your next step in life toward your career goals:
I will be attending Belmont University in the Fall.
Gratitude:
I would love to thank Coach Bailey, Coach Keating, Coach O’Brian, and Coach Kevin for the past two years of incredible seasons. I loved being a part of this team and was blessed to be coached by very talented lacrosse coaches.
