SES Middle School Boys Lacrosse Spring 2017: What you need to know!
What you need to know!
a. We supply helmets and uniforms for all players, as well as practice apparel.
b. We can supply gloves, shoulder pads, and elbow pads for new players. You'll need cleats.
c. We can supply players who'd like to try goalie with a goalie stick.
d. We ask that parents purchase the normal sticks (for Midfield, Attack or Long Pole) for their child, depending on what position they are interested in. We actuallysuggest purchasing an attack/midfield stick, then if we feel you would also make a good defender, we have a local resource who can help you with purchasing a long pole to use with the stickhead you will already have. (Birdies Golf and Lacrosse Shop).
e. We are SES...we are all about you learning in the classroom and on the field(s) of play, or the courts of competition. WE WANT YOU and we hope you will give us your WANT TOO!
f. Middle School practices and games are scheduled on Mondays through Fridays; we avoid Saturdays because we want you to want to also get involved in the Sun Devils Spring program which plays games on Saturdays and is a great experience too.
g. Parents are welcome to email me and ask me to call them if they have questions.
Last but not least, we want your son to become part of our 2017 program! Our coaches want his Desire and Determination, and we want him to have an experience that will challenge him, yet provide you an incredible sense of accomplishment while having lots of fun learning the fastest game on two feet!
