Some notes for you that I sent out earlier that you may have missed:
1. Team Apparel Store:

https://bsgsesboyslax21-22-2.itemorder.com/

The team apparel store is for players and parents, brothers and sisters, grandma's and grandpa's.  This is for your convenience, and 'fandom" and support of Boys Lacrosse.  Students who purchase t-shirts and shorts can wear the apparel for PE classes too.

2. Team Equipment Store:

https://ascsoccercorner.tuosystems.com/stores/stedwardssp22/item/1627992

The team equipment store is set up for you to order from if you presently have equipment you want to replace.  You are not required to buy anything.  This store closes on Sun Jan 23.  I believe these are the best prices you will get anywhere.

3. Varsity Team Website:  http://steds.lacrosseshift.com/home

4. Boys Lacrosse Twitter:  @SaintEdsBoysLax

5. Upper School students/parents:

The following HS players need these certificates completed by Jan 24:

Kieran, Stone, Cooper and Ford.

After you complete the course, download the certificate, and forward it to Mrs. Miller in the athletic office at gmiller@steds.org

Required NFHS Video Courses

Please make sure you watch the following videos and turn in the certificates listed to the Athletics Department:

  • Concussion for Students
  • Heat Illness Prevention
  • Sudden Cardiac Arrest
  • Sportsmanship

Practice starts Jan 24 from 3:15pm to 5:15pm, Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday-Friday and Saturday mornings from 8am-10am, with adjustments as we need based on school schedule.

Activity bus I believe actually departs around 5:30pm, weekdays.

*I will have a Team Moms and Dads meeting on the second Saturday so that I can report on player and team progress, go over concepts and strategies we will utilize for the season including the phases we will apply to our building for a hopeful playoff run in April & May.  That meeting will take place right after practice. on that Saturday.

*I never have a problem with parents watching practices.  You may watch and observe all you want, I just ask that you stay off the field, and politely enjoy the process.  It's always a work in progress!

Upper School practices will be on the Stadium Field and LS Field at times when 7th/8th grade team is not using it . Much probably depends on how far in the playoffs our soccer teams go.  For now, we will plan on the Stadium field.

-Athletic cups are required by the FHSAA for practices and our games.  Our coaches will not be checking students for compliance to this regulation, however, they are REQUIRED.

-Shoulder pads must comply with the new 2022 mandate for Heart protection.  If you are looking for your own update with this, I suggest you go to the Team Equipment store.  I do not have enough to supply US players (maybe about 5-6 extra) for those players new to the sport that don't have the shoulder pads because of being unaware of the new mandate.
